Trompe l'oeil

I shrieked so loud when i saw Charlotte Mann's work in LivingEtc, i think my whole quaint neighbourhood could hear it! She executes life size drawing details by just putting marker pens on white walls.

Remember how trompe l’oeil murals used to be so tacky with the illusion of windows and door usually applied in spanish haciendas? uuuh i just cant stand those! haha However, modern trompe l’oeil nowadays really could give wallpaper a run for it's money, like these hand painted ones from Deborah Bowness. Scrumptious, ay?
