I had located a certain amount of cash that i should be bringing for certain days, because melbourne has so many delicious temptations(damn you), and thats the only way i would have enough money to last the whole trip. so last sunday during our morning flea market, i spent eighty percent of my daily expences on the first stall i had my eyes on, the dvd man. he has the most beautiful collection ever, i cant help it.
one of the movies that i bought was The Boat That Rocked. its set in the '60s and about this pirate radio station that broadcasts from a ship to the United Kingdom, with the sole mission of playing good old rock music! the kinks, the troggs, dusty springfield, the beatles, Jimi Hendrix..oh good god. Oh and the eclectic mix of DJs and storyline are just laugh out funny! Make sure you check out beefy Dave, thats ma man right there.
im going back to my mr. dvd man again this weekend to claim more of his beautiful collection, and maybe ill bring with me a little bit more money this time, just in case i want buy some fries with me while im digging through. just in case. hehe.
i thought this movie was so fun!
