If you're young and you love bargain shopping(yeargh), Bangkok is thee place to be. So during Christmas break when Juliani tagged me, I tagged Jehan, and pap pap pap before you know it we're in Bangkok, baby. We stayed 3 nights at 2 different hotels. We're experimental like that.
We stayed at Mystic Place and had different rooms for each night, ha! You can't blame us, they have nearly 40 different rooms with each one having a unique theme to them. Juliani had the room where it glows in the dark! While Jehan and I stayed at room 305 and 413; which graced us with a mirror on the ceiling. It also made us felt like we were in Morocco. I'd choose room 401 if I get to visit again.
Loy La Long isn't just ay hotel. It's a fisherman's boat transformed into a hotel! Whatttt. There are just 7 rooms in the whole place, making it reyl cozy. It felt so much like home, not that it resembled our home, haha but it just felt like home. The 3 staffs that served us were the nicest. There was one time when we were craving for this thing that we ate at the market(of course we forgot the name), these men offered to go and buy for us. What is that? Above and beyond, I tell you.
That picture above? That was during our last day where we sat for almost 7 hours just talking, having lunch, watching a movie, and just recalling what we did for past few days. Oh we also did that because we ran out of money. oops.
The lounge area were overlooking the Chao Phraya river which can only means = first class sunset. A little FYI, in high school, my geography
teacher put me on the spot and asked where Chao Phraya was located. Of course I
didn't know, and of course I had to stand on my chair as a result. But look how appreciative I am of that river now!
I still couldn't get over how our hotel was by the river. Not the ooh I can see the river from my room kind of cool, but the woah I can touch the river with my feet while sitting on my back porch kind of cool.
More of Bangkok, this weekend. Happy friday, gang!
