In late January, we all went to Napoli, Italy to celebrate Shazana's 23rd birthday weekend! The beauty of living in the central of Europe is that you can just save some money(pack some bagels from home for a few weeks instead of eating out), invite some friends, book cheap flights, and be in the next country just like that! :)
Our highlight while being in Napoli is definitely going to Antica Pizzeria da Michele. The pizzeria in Eat, Pray, Love where Julia
Roberts famously said "I'm having a relationship with my pizza"! People
all over the world come to taste that pizza and everyone's willing to
wait up to one hour to get a table.
Just to help you visualize the place!
The pizza was your average simple margheritta. Without all the shananigan toppings. Just tomato and cheese. It's cheap, it's delicious, and it's huge! I think we hit the pizza jackpot here. Hands down, the best we've eeeever tasted. We still compare da Michelle's pizza to any pizza we eat now, and it's not fair is it? The other pizzas didn't stand a chance. But don't get me wrong, I still never say no to a pizza :)
After taking a train to Sorento from Napoli, we had a few hours to kill before taking our bus to Positano. So while we were there, we just walked around the area, you know, just to stay close around the bus station just in case we loose track of time(we won't be surprised). There isn't really a lot to do in Sorento, but Nadia managed to have the best latte during our entire trip. It was in a small shot glass(thick latte!), but Nadia still let us all try it. Sweet isn't she?

Next up, Positano!
