This was a particular weekend a month ago but I still get hung up over it because it was just such an easy and relaxing day. No fuss. Just me and my Meel at Butter & Beans. It rained in the morning(yay), so the weather wasn't tooooo hot to handle(yay).
This cafe is tiiiiiny, but has such characters. I love the fact that it's dark and all cozy inside. Made me feel like I was in cold London. The guys in there made sure we enjoyed out lattes and are just the friendliest. That's the best service a cafe can offer, dont cha think? :) Meel & I already had our lunches when we got there, so we didn't get to try the pastries. So, *ding ding*, round 2!

Food Foundry was just conveniently behind Butter and Beans. I still remembered how good their vanilla crepe cake was when I first tasted it, and I wanted Meel to try it. I have this habit of forcing people in liking what I like, eeek. Bad habit really. So yeahhhhh. He tried it and it was layers and layers and layers of crepe goodness.
Weekends are supposed to be spent doing what you love, with the people that you love. I did justttt that.
