This was the last day our stay in Cardiff, so mama and i took pictures at every possible corner to commemorate our stay there, her being behind the camera and me posing for the camera.
We took the train back to London where we continued our exploration at the Natural History Museum, and boy did i enjoy myself. ive always had an interest in dinosaurs, reptiles, and any particular animal that could probably stomp or tear limb to limb, so i had goose pimples all throughout my body the whole time i was there! It must be nice to work there, to be surrounded with that much amount of awesomeness, it was such a Ross Gellar moment. After being chased out by the securities (man are they strict about the closing time!), we went to Harrods's food hall to buy some teas with nice tin packagings to bring back home.
My obsession with Laduree basically made me cry when i step foot in the department store. it was a good 3 minutes of embarrassment. After years of pictures-saving and blabbing about it, I couldnt believe i was actually seeing it with own eyes and touching it with my trembling hands! it was so surreal. However, i've made a vow to myself, to eat my first Laduree in Paris. Its been tough, and its been challenging because wonderful friends have given it to me as a present, but ive not disappoint myself, yet! So instead, mama and i just enjoyed lattes while our heads did a 360 degrees view on the store.
Still flustered over Laduree, I went to have a nice dinner with my friend, Syabil which i havent seen in almost 3 years, at an small Italian restaurant which pinned vintage vinyls from Georgia Gibb's & Eddie Cochran's on the walls. I cant say ive had a complete dinner without desserts, and the Friday's night choice was waffles at the sweet cafe next door. I slept in early because i knew what im going to be doing the next day :)
